I am an AK amputee, and have been wearing Alpha Liners for about two years now, and have been very happy with them. I use the Locking Liner because it makes me feel confident that my leg is going to stay firmly attached!

I used to use a waist belt, which I found could be very uncomfortable around the waist and stomach area.

The mineral oil based gel is very comforting to my skin, especially around the groin area. Also, the gel gives me padding around the seating area, which again is very comfortable. The Alpha Liner suits me very well - but of course you should talk to your own prosthetist if you want to try one.
